The Selective Mutism Network has several Treating Professionals who are familiar with Selective Mutism. Finding help early for a child with this condition is very important. 

The Treating Professional will be able to focus on the issue, and help the child overcome his/her fear of speaking. They may also be able to work with the child and teacher at the school were the anxiety shows itself the most.

Our Treating Professionals are referrals, so be sure to do your research before starting any type of service.
