Sonia has trained directly with psychiatrist Harald Blomberg, MD, and master kinesiologist, Moira Dempsey, founders of Rhythmic Movement Training; with Jon Bredal, creator of Heal the Child; with Svetlana Masgutova, PhD and Pamela Curlee of Masgutova Neuro-sensory-motor & Reflex Integration program (MNRI); and with O. Fred Donaldson, PhD, author and developer of the Original Play Playshops.

 

In addition, Sonia has studied numerous methods of Reflex Integration and has further training in Developmental Movement, Balametrics, Nonviolent Communication, and Storytelling with Children.

 

 

Sonia is the creator of Neurodevelopmental Movement Training for parents and specialists (available for Professional Development in many areas). Sonia is certified in Rhythmic Movement Training as a consultant and instructor of RMT Levels 1 & 2. She is licensed in Brain Gym®, and is a professional member of the Educational Kinesiology Foundation. Sonia also provides special topics training for Foster Families in Washington State through the Department of Health and Social Services.

 

Sonia is particularly sensitive to the issues and challenges that families are faced with today. In her own life, and with her children, family, clients, students and colleagues, Sonia continues to see the profound benenfits of doing Neurodevelopmental Movement, and she loves to share these life-changing tools with others.
