Nancy Ross is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Earning her Masters degree from Hofstra University, she has worked with children of all ages, and adults, throughout her practice.

She specializes in the treatment of Stuttering, Selective Mutism, and the development of Speech and Language.

Nancy moved to the Bay Area from New York shortly after 9/11.  She resides in San Rafael with her husband.  Her son and his wife are both Cardiologists.

 

During therapy, Nancy utilizes personalized techniques,
while incorporating activities that are fun and interesting, to develop communication skills and self esteem for each individual.  The main focus is to create a safe linguistic
environment that encourages self awareness and self esteem, while fostering the desire to communicate verbally.

Clinical guidance, respect, and kindness are an integral part of each session, with the intent of having each person leave her care feeling good about themselves.
