I am a family therapist experienced in providing counseling to adults, parents, couples, children and families.

I engage actively in treatment and am an advocate for my clients.  As a strength based therapist, I believe that therapy should offer supportive, practical solutions so change can be sustained on your own.

 

My clients have diverse and frequently challenging backgrounds, and may have issues with attachment, communication, impulse control, ADHD, depression, school difficulties, trauma, grief/loss or other related concerns.

 

 

One of my specialties is to support families with kids who struggle with emotional and behavioral issues and work with parents who need parenting support.  I'm also experienced in working with parents who are adjusting into a step-parent role, separating/divorcing or who are struggling with family communication and/or understanding and managing their kids' behaviors at home.

 

I am a parent myself, and feel strongly that it is from my informed, non-judgmental place as a therapist and as a parent that my clients feel the most supported and understood.
