Dr. Joeanne Gutzwiller began private practice in 2005 in an effort to provide the highest quality psychological services to children, teens, and their families in the Cincinnati area. Prior to private practice, Dr. Gutzwiller worked as a pediatric psychology fellow at Cincinnati Childrens Hospital Medical Center (CCHMC) where she successfully treated numerous children, teens, and families experiencing a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and health related concerns.

 

Dr. Gutzwiller earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Saint Louis University in 2002. While in graduate school, Dr. Gutzwiller began her specialization in child and pediatric psychology at SSM Cardinal Glennon Childrens Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. Her dissertation research examined the impact of pediatric cancer on siblings of children diagnosed with cancer.

 

Dr. Gutzwiller completed her residency in pediatric psychology at Childrens Hospital of Michigan / Wayne State University prior to beginning her fellowship in pediatric psychology at CCHMC. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Gutzwiller has published clinical research studies in several peer reviewed journals.
