
Felicity Sapp
Dr. Felicity Sapp is a Registered Clinical Psychologist in Alberta and Ontario, Canada. She completed her Doctorate training at Queens University in Ontario, Canada. Dr. Sapp has worked in the area of mental health for over 10 years with particular expertise in the area of anxiety disorders. She gained vast experience in treating a diversity of moderate to severe anxiety disorders working in an intensive day treatment program in Sacramento, California.
Dr. Sapp also has extensive experience working with children and adolescents with complex psychiatric disorders. For many years, she was a member of both the General and Mood and Anxiety Outpatient programs in the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at a teaching hospital in Kingston, Ontario, Canada.
Over her career, Dr. Sapp has attended numerous anxiety workshops, including one by Dr.Elisa Shipon-Blum, President and Director of the Selective Mutism Anxiety Research and Treatment Center. Dr Sapp has collaborated with leading clinicians in the area of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and presented internationally at conferences in the United States. She also provides anxiety workshops at local schools.
Currently, Dr. Sapp provides individual and family treatment in her private practice, Anxiety Psychological Services, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. She offers cognitive-behavioral therapy (including exposure therapy and habit reversal training) to clients of all ages with anxiety-spectrum disorders (e.g., obsessive-compulsive disorder, posttraumatic stress disorder, trichotillomania, panic, separation anxiety, selective mutism, specific and social phobias).
