Dana McKennon


 

 

Dr. Dana McKennon earned a Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. She also has obtained certification as a School Psychologist from National-Louis University.

 

 

She is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a Certified School Psychologist. Her education and experience contributes to a unique sensitivity to children's emotional, behavioral, and educational needs.

 

She worked for nine years in the capacity of a school psychologist for an elementary school while practicing in private practice part-time. She provides adult and child therapy specializing in mood and anxiety disorders, including social phobia and selective mutism, and Asperger syndrome through cognitive behavioral interventions and a multidisciplinary approach.
